N.Y., June 12–Harry (Pittsburgh Phil) Strauss and Martin (Bugsy) Goldstein, leaders in the Brooklyn murder syndicate, were
put to death in the electric chair at Sing Sing Prison tonight for
a slaying in Brooklyn nearly two years ago. They were the first members of the murder ring to pay the death penalty for
